An apology does not obligate the injured character to forgive immediately, restore trust, resume the relationship, or pretend the damage never happened. Somebody can accept an apology and still need distance. They can believe the remorse is sincere and still decide that the relationship cannot continue as it once did. They can forgive without forgetting what happened.

We love the harvest because it is visible, but the harvest is usually built by faithfulness that hardly anybody sees. That is why you should never underestimate what God may be doing through the ordinary things you keep doing well.

You didn't necessarily want to take their blessing away. You just wanted to know when your own prayers would be answered. You wondered why life seemed to be moving forward for everyone else while you were still waiting, struggling, sacrificing, and trying to remain faithful.
